Savvy consumers will know about cashback websites. Companies pay commissions to publishers (including blogs such as this one) who drive additional business through referrals. A couple of UK-based businesses go so far as to pass most of that commission onto consumers as “cash back”.
If you love to travel and book your own flights and accommodation, cash back can really add up – all for something you were probably already planning to book directly anyhow! (to earn points, promotion credit, elite status credit, etc.) Not all hotel chains are represented however. IHG Rewards Club withdrew from the main cashback websites a couple of years, but I’m happy to inform readers that IHG is back!
Quidco is now offering an 8% cashback rate on spend with IHG hotels such as Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, etc.
This is a great deal and, if you’re interested in signing up for Quidco to take advantage, please click on the Quidco logo below:
If you sign up with Quidco and earn £5 of cashback, you will earn an additional £5 from sharing my referral bonus – you will probably earn £5 of cashback from booking just one night with IHG, so that’s a pretty good deal for both of us since you’ll end up with £10+ and £5 for me…
Once you’ve signed up, all you need to remember to do is click on the IHG link through Quidco. The link will take you to the IHG website to make your hotel booking. A cookie should track this, and eventually you should see your cash back after your stay has completed. Of course you only earn cash back on paid stays, not points-only award stays.
