Club Carlson Flash Sale – Buy Points for 0.4 cents each

Club Carlson are running a flash sale until 15 May, 2017. You can receive a 75% bonus when buying points.

You can buy a maximum of 40,000 Club Carlson points per year for $280. With the 75% bonus during the Flash Sale, this would mean you end up with 70,000 Club Carlson points for $280. This works out to 0.4 US cents per point.

Whether this makes sense depends on your own personal circumstances. The lowest award categories cost 9,000, 15,000 and 28,000 points per night. At this 0.4 cent price, that works out to $36, $60 and $112 per night. This deal might, therefore, let you save money on some lower category hotels – Club Carlson have some airport properties in the U.S. in Categories 1 and 2, where a 1-night stay costing $36 or $60 is hard to beat…

The value in Club Carlson used to be at the high end. But now that most decent Club Carlson properties cost 70,000 points per night, it is harder to find value. Buying 70K points costs $280 (or £215). This might be OK for London properties such as the May Fair – but you can basically only buy one night due to the annual cap on buying Club Carlson points.

If interested, you can visit your Club Carlson account where the bonus will be automatically applied.
